Course description
This introductory course provides students with a foundational understanding of facility operations and management. Topics of study include the roles and responsibilities of facility managers, the impact of recreation facilities on community health and wellness, and emerging trends such as sustainability and technology integration. Students also examine various types of indoor and outdoor recreation/sport facilities. Additionally, they explore career opportunities and professional resources specific to this industry
