Health Assessment for Community Paramedics (Micro-credential)

Course description

Students develop advanced assessment skills related to the physical and psychosocial aspects of the individual, including concepts of holistic care and transcultural considerations. They demonstrate history-taking, as well as psychomotor skills (inspection, percussion, palpation, and auscultation) using relevant technology. Common diagnostic and point of care tests are reviewed. This module is part of the Community Paramedicine Micro-credential.
