Course description

Boards and committees play an important role in the operation of private and semi-private golf facilities. In this course, students examine the key concepts and skills of golf course administration and the role of the management team. Topics include governance, boards and committees, public vs. private club operations, by-laws, and managing meetings.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
