This course is a practical application of the theory and assignments experienced in the Graphic Design program. Students make contact, communicate, and present their work professionally to potential hosts or employers. Students practise and enhance their creative and production skills and receive feedback from potential employers. Activities vary from placement to placement, but commonly include preparation and completion of assigned graphic design tasks and projects, while practising time management skills to meet specific deadlines. Students also continue to develop and refine their body of work for inclusion in a professional portfolio.
