Experiences in Language Arts

Course description

This course provides students with both the theory and practical skills to promote the value of early literacy, to plan language arts activities and to choose age-appropriate literature for children from birth to eight years of age. Students will explore and practice the skills to promote the link between drama and literacy, as well as demonstrate their own storytelling abilities

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
