Course description
In this course, students are provided with an overview of the requirements of current legislation and standards pertaining to environmental health and safety in the workplace. Health and safety management systems, hazardous materials management, WHMIS, biological, physical and chemical hazards, environmental monitoring devices, confined space entry, personal protective equipment, and emergency response are examined.
