Design of Energy Systems

MENG 3007

Course description

Students investigate the principles of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and thermodynamics which are used to develop methodologies for the analysis and design of a wide range of energy system components, including piping, fined surface, shell-and-tube, and cross flow heat exchangers.

Course Hours

Post Secondary level MENG 2005 Fluid Mechanics Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
