Computer Aided Drafting/KBD
Students develop knowledge of industry-standard kitchen and bath design software programs and utilize those programs in the specification and documentation of design concepts. Students prepare technical drawings that define the scope of work and construction methods to be used, together with specifications for new and renovated kitchens and baths. Technical drawings encompass floor plans, elevations, mechanical plans, sections, details, and three-dimensional drawings for project specifications and client presentations.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
