Course description
Students continue to develop knowledge and skills connected to communication disorders associated with the adult population. Therapeutic interventions for speech, language, and swallowing disorders related to acquired and progressive neurological impairments are discussed. Students also examine therapeutic intervention strategies, individual and group therapy, modification of the environment, and caregiver education.
