Course description

This course is designed to equip students with advanced communication skills and networking strategies necessary to secure employment and/or take advantage of other opportunities in the event industry. Students explore various professional business designations that can advance careers and build professional credibility. By organizing and participating in networking events, students experience opportunities to improve their professional networks, explore partner organizations and events for field placement for the following semester.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
