Course description

In this course, students apply and practice program learning in the carpentry shop. They learn how to safely use hand tools, portable power tools, and stationary power tools,and select and employ the appropriate materials and methods. Emphasis is placed on following the Ontario Building Code through site layout, framing and forming, and a demolition project.
