Join the Georgian community as we acknowledge and honour both Sisters in Spirit and Take Back the Night (TBTN).

Both Sisters and Spirit and Take Back the Night are movements aimed at raising awareness around the realities of sexual violence in our communities and working towards the elimination of gender-based violence. Sisters in Spirit annually occurs on Oct. 4 and aims to honour those who have gone missing from Indigenous communities. Take Back the Night is a global movement that can occur at any time throughout a year; however, events often focus on creating a safe space for survivors and encouraging everyone to have a voice in work to end gender-based violence.
