Culture Days - Culture, community, and celebration

Culture Days is a national celebration held each fall to highlight and reflect the art and culture of our local communities. Rooted in creativity, connection, inclusivity, collaboration, and self-expression, the event invites everyone to come together in the spirit of collective care.

At Georgian, we welcome you to join us in honouring the diverse backgrounds of our students, staff, and community partners through a variety of Culture Days activities. Enjoy performances, arts and crafts, turban wrapping, henna, calligraphy, and more. You’ll also have the chance to enjoy complimentary global cuisine and beverages—an opportunity to experience the flavours of the world!

Get involved – Show us what you’ve got!

Want to be part of Culture Days? This is your chance to share your talents, celebrate your culture, and get involved in one of Georgian’s most vibrant events of the year. Whether you’d like to perform, lead a cultural activity, or volunteer*, applications are now open! In the past, participants have played instruments, performed dances, sung songs, showcased arts and crafts, and more—and we can’t wait to see what you’ll bring this year.

By participating, you’ll receive a certificate, an official Co-Curricular Record (CCR) entry, free food, and transportation if you’re performing at multiple campuses. Performers will also be entered for a chance to win a portable speaker (each campus counts as one entry).

*General volunteers, we ask that you commit at least two hours of your time to help make the event a success.
