The selected entrant will be required to sign and return a contest winner agreement and publicity release within ten (10) business days of notification. The selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by email before being declared the winner (the “Winner”).
If the selected Entrant: (I) cannot be contacted within three (3) attempts or before the end of the Contact Period (whichever occurs first); or (II) if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable; or (III) fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; or (IV) fails to return the contest documents within the specified time, they will forfeit their prize and an alternate winner will be selected.
In the event that the selected entrant does not comply with these Contest Rules, an alternative entrant will be selected by the Registrar at Georgian College.
Georgian College reserves the right to alter or modify the winning name (the “Entry”).
PRIZE
The selected entrant will win the cost of their entire first-year tuition, including ancillary fees, automatically applied to their Georgian College account. The amount will vary, depending on the entrant’s selected academic program. The prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged. The prize cannot be converted to cash or substituted for another prize. Once the Winner signs the release, the credit will automatically be applied to the entrant’s Georgian College tuition account.
RELEASES
The Winner, or the Winner’s parent/legal guardian if the Winner is under the age of 18, must sign a contest winner agreement and publicity release, releasing Georgian College, its Board of Governors, its advertising and promotional agencies, the affiliates and related entities of the foregoing and all respective directors, officers, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assignees from any liability in connection with this Contest or the Prize as a condition to and in advance of receiving the Prize, or the Prize will be forfeited.
