Emergency Bursary Fund

Your support will make a difference now and change someone’s future.

Life can be unpredictable. In just a few short months, COVID-19 has grown into a global pandemic and students are feeling the impact in significant ways.

Everyone here at Georgian is grateful for those who have reached out to us during this crisis, asking how to help students as they work through this new reality.

We know that the current crisis is causing financial constraints everywhere, and we sincerely appreciate the support so many already provide to the college. Yet, as we work to stretch the college’s resources to meet the new, extraordinary needs of our students, we need your help.

Donor-funded emergency bursaries assist Georgian students to deal with unexpected financial need because of COVID-19. Students have lost part-time jobs, face new travel and technology expenses, and for some, the ability to pay for life essentials like rent, utilities, food and medication is becoming more difficult each day. Emergency bursaries can and will help, but we need more.

As gifts are received, new emergency bursaries are distributed immediately to deserving students. It’s that simple, and your donation today will have an enduring impact for years to come.

Thank you for investing in our students during this time of unprecedented disruption.
