FITN 2004

Students appraise the benefits of personal fitness and wellness in their quest towards a career in corrections. Through research, self-development and assessment, students continue to analyze healthy living by examining physiological responses to the physical demands of employment and develop strategies to maintain wellness in their selected career. Students demonstrate fitness activities designed to prepare candidates to meet the standards and procedures employed by correctional agencies to ensure preparation for current occupational fitness testing.

Prerequisites


Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
