Course description
In this course students explore contemporary perspectives, practices and research related to creating a culture of excellence in the workplace. Students begin with an examination of their own personal values and strengths and the way previous leaders have tapped into these to drive performance. Next, they examine the role of a leader in creating the culture of excellence and the ways organizations sometimes get this wrong. Finally, students learn and apply a coaching model and complete a detailed analysis of their own performance as a coach. Student learning is influenced by faculty expertise and may emphasize solution focused coaching, flourishing, positive psychology, strengths based leadership, motivation (autonomy, mastery and purpose), compassionate leadership, and emotional intelligence. Students integrate knowledge, practical skills and self awareness throughout the course

and Undergraduate - degree level level MNGM 1000 Leadership Mod Theories Minimum Grade of 50
