Dispute Resolution

POLC 4014

In this course, students examine the theory and practice of conflict analysis and dispute resolution. They build upon and apply their knowledge and best practices of dispute resolution to individual and community disputes. Students critically assess and analyze ethical conduct by practitioners during the resolution process and evaluate the strengths and challenges of various resolution processes in Canada.

Prerequisites


Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
