Civil Litigation 1
In this course, students are introduced to civil litigation in Ontario, beginning with an overview of the process from the commencement of proceedings to the end of the trial. Students examine in detail the civil process from commencement of proceedings through to the close of pleadings, including the Rules of Civil Procedure, document preparation and practical tasks performed by law clerks such as serving documents and client interviews.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
