Course description

Students analyze the roles and responsibilities of investigators and the fundamental processes involved in conducting professional investigations. Emphasis is placed on developing practical skills in obtaining information from victims, witnesses, and suspects; preserving evidence; and producing comprehensive reports. Students also examine interviewing and interrogation methods, as well as issues related to deception, memory, and eyewitness identification
