Course description

Scripts are used to automate common network administration tasks. Students are introduced to both Windows and Linux administrative scripting languages. Students write scripts that perform administrative tasks such as manage the user environment, automate routines, and configure system settings.

Post Secondary level COMP 1071 Linux Network Administration Minimum Grade of 50
and Post Secondary level COMP 2018 Linux System Administration Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
