Business and Professional Women of Barrie marks 80 years by investing in women’s education

In June, the Business and Professional Women (BPW) of Barrie marked its 80th anniversary with a gala, donating the event’s proceeds to Georgian College’s WOMEN’S inTUITION Endowment Fund. The fund provides annual awards that help women access and succeed in postsecondary education.

The latest contribution strengthens the endowment, allowing Georgian to increase the value of the awards presented to students each year. It’s a meaningful investment that will continue to benefit women as they pursue their education and build brighter futures.

Thank you to the Business and Professional Women (BPW) of Barrie and congratulations on 80 years!
