Postsecondary education is an investment in your future. We know many students find it tough to make ends meet, which is why we offer so many options to help you pay your way to graduation.

OSAP

You may be able to get help paying for school through the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). Loans and grants are based on your calculated financial need. Try the quick OSAP calculator to find out how much you are eligible for.

Bursaries 

Bursaries provide aid to students who have qualified for OSAP and need additional assistance. Check out the various bursaries at Georgian.

Awards and scholarships

By the numbers:

  • $6.1 million in bursaries awarded to Georgian students annually
  • 1,000+ awards and scholarships available to students each year (entrance and in-course awards)
  • $2 million of donor-funded student awards, scholarships and bursaries annually (entrance and in-course awards)

Georgian’s awards, scholarships and bursaries aren’t just for students with top grades! Many also consider community involvement, leadership, and financial need. Plus, it’s easy to apply online. Earn while you learn

Many of our programs offer paid co-op. Georgian also offers summer employment programs and part-time Work Study employment opportunities on campus for eligible students with financial need.

There are also dozens of part-time student jobs on campus! Here’s a comprehensive list to help you earn while you learn. Many of these positions fill up quickly, so have your resumé and cover letter ready. Watch for job fair notices and job postings throughout the year.
