Course description

In this course, students gain the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to integrate personal healthy living strategies in a variety of recreational settings. They conduct a personal nutrition, fitness and wellness self-inventory/analysis and are exposed to a diversity of recreation and fitness initiatives through hands-on activities and personal self-driven experiences. There are gym sessions connected with this course.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
