Science Fiction

Course description

In this course, students trace the history and development of science fiction, and are introduced to representative works from literature, television and cinema. Selected works of science fiction illustrate and analyze how science fiction performs the role of social commentary. These works serve as a catalyst to class discussion of universal and contemporary social issues

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
