PSW Community Care
Students examine the role of the personal support worker (PSW) working in community settings and develop an understanding of the community resources available to clients. Students also explore growth and development through the life cycle including sexuality, family dynamics, abuse, home management, interprofessional care, discharge planning and care planning for in home services.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
