Course description
Students explore concepts that will prepare them for upcoming clinical experiences starting with the regulation of nursing and the College of Nurses of Ontario. The nurse-client relationship, communication, and professional expectations and behaviours are examined in the context of becoming a prepared practitioner. Clinical requirements are reviewed, and students explore reflective thinking and writing

Prerequisites
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
