Abnormal Psychology

Course description

In this course, students are introduced to the psychology of abnormal behaviour. Students explore definitions of psychopathology and investigate various perspectives pertaining to abnormal behaviour. Students develop a deeper understanding of the connections between causes of behaviours and different treatment approaches

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
