Xcelerate Summit
This annual event is an opportunity to learn from a diverse set of leaders that are experts in their field of business. It offers a jam-packed agenda that includes a keynote, workshops on a variety of relevant business topics, a presidents panel and networking.
Further Faster
This program is perfect for entrepreneurs starting a new business or considering pivoting an existing business.
The Further, Faster program is a condensed business training program for entrepreneurs at all stages, in all industries.
Henry Bernick Medal Awards
The Henry Bernick Medal Awards is an annual event to celebrate and present the medals to deserving recipients across three distinct categories: Student Entrepreneur, Community Entrepreneur and Entrepreneurs’ Champion. Each year this event features a world renounce keynote speaker.
eCommerce Rockstars
If you’re an experienced entrepreneur, you know building a successful ecommerce business requires more than just a course or an online community. Through this program, you’ll master the 15 pillars of running a structured and scalable ecommerce business either as a solopreneur, or as part of a team. Receive over 60 hours of complete video training from 25 industry experts.

Department of Research and Innovation
The Research and Innovation department at Georgian College is the hub for research, development and innovation, focusing on product design, prototyping, market research, analysis, testing and e-business solution development.
Georgian Angel Network
Georgian Angel Network was established to connect angel investors in the Barrie, South Georgian Bay, Orangeville and Muskoka/Huntsville regions with entrepreneurs needing equity capital to commercialize their innovations.
Market research
Anne Dorsey is a specialized business librarian with 25 years experience in public and academic libraries. Anne has worked with over a thousand entrepreneurs and small business owners to assist them with key marketing resources. Anne has brought key target market databases to several libraries in Ontario, including Georgian College. Anne is passionate about entrepreneurs understanding and utilizing the best possible marketing information.
Sandbox
Sandbox connects people and their ideas to business resources; where guided collaboration and sharing of collective knowledge support their journey to success.
