Course description

In this course, students assemble quality joints as required for shop projects. Joint arrangement and preparation are coordinated and constructed. Soldering copper processes using variable soft solders are demonstrated and practiced. Applying theoretical learning from other courses, students calculate for offsets of varying degrees to prepare and assemble projects. In-service processes and trouble shooting skills are demonstrated on kitchen sinks and lavatory modules either alone or with a partner.

Post Secondary level PLMB 1001 Plumbing Practical 1 Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
