Course description

Golf tournaments and special events have a significant impact on the overall health of golf facilities. Events such as member tournaments enhance the experience at private clubs, while corporate and charity events add revenue to the bottom line. In this class, students learn how to organize and co-ordinate each phase of the event management process, from initial planning, through execution, to post-event analysis, in order to ensure the delivery of a successful event.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
