Course description

Students develop a comprehensive understanding of collision regulations and learn to apply the rules to take action in order to avoid collisions at sea. Collision avoidance is practiced in the simulator classroom. Students will also prepare for Transport Canada exams.

Post Secondary level MARE 2028 Navigational Safety 2 Minimum Grade of 60

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
