Course description

Students in this course are provided with an overview of the public relations function within agencies and client-side organizations. They examine the roles and responsibilities of public relations practitioners within the context of organizational objectives and professional ethical standards. Students apply their knowledge by creating a variety of public relations materials and developing a public relations plan

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
