Course description

This course is intended for students without prior knowledge of Italian. It is designed to enable students to communicate in situations they are likely to encounter when traveling in Italian-speaking regions or when meeting Italian speakers. Students explore elements of culture that a first-time visitor to an Italian-speaking region would need to know

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
