Intro Medical Terms

Course description

Students learn medical terminology necessary to equip them with the required vocabulary to prepare a variety of medical correspondence to mailable standards. Ethical and cultural issues relating to the health services environment are discussed and students conduct research to prepare information related to diverse health beliefs and issues. Roles and responsibilities surrounding the healthcare team is explored

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
