AutoCAD Introduction

This course will be delivered in a GC Flex learning mode. Learning will occur in a flexible course structure that gives students the option of attending sessions in the classroom, online or both. Students can change their mode of attendance accordingly to their need or preference.

Students must purchase their own version of AutoCAD software (preferably the most recent version) and use their own devices. Obtain a student version of AutoCAD free of charge.

Course description

This hands on course introduces the student to AutoCAD. Topics covered include screen display controls, menu structure, point entry methods, drawing setup, draw commands, edit commands, object selection, annotations, basic dimensioning and plotting.
