Congratulations
YOU’RE IN!

Get ready to experience Georgian! With committed faculty, a focus on hands-on learning, and a great culture, we think Georgian is right for you. If you agree, here are your next steps.

Step 1: Accept your offer

What if my offer is conditional?

You can still accept your offer! Before you can start your program, you’ll need to meet requirements, complete courses or upgrading, or send in documents. For example, high school students need to complete their last few classes, and mature applicants may need to complete testing requirements. Check out your academic dashboard to see what you need to do.

View Academic Dashboard

How to access your academic dashboard

  • Log in with your dashboard username (studentID@student.georgianc.on.ca).
  • Your password is your six-digit date of birth (YYMMDD).
  • Click on Academics and then Academic Dashboard.

Step 2: Pay your fees and plan your budget

To secure your seat in the program, pay your $250 (effective fall 2019) non-refundable tuition deposit. This applies to OSAP recipients, too. After that, your full tuition fees are due at the start of each term.

Your $250 non-refundable tuition deposit is due by the date below, or by the date on your acceptance letter (whichever comes first):

  • September 2019 start: June 17, 2019
  • January 2020 start: Oct. 3, 2019
  • May 2020 start: Feb. 17, 2020

You can pay online through your bank.

How to pay your fees

You can afford this!

Postsecondary education is an investment in your future. There are many ways we can help you make ends meet.

Please note that 2019-20 fees are pending announcement from the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

Step 3: Register for courses

How to register

Paying your deposit makes you eligible to register for classes.

About two months before classes begin, you’ll get your registration window. Within that window, you can register for classes by logging into Banner, our student information system. Select Registration then Register for Courses.

How to get course exemptions

If you have relevant postsecondary experience, our Transfer Equivalency tool can help you explore course exemptions or advanced standing. If you have relevant work or life experience, you can do a prior learning assessment to see if you’re eligible for exemptions.

Step 4: Join the Georgian community

When you become a student here, you become part of the Georgian family. So plug into campus life. Join a team, create a club, find your groove – and ask for help if you need it.
