What documents do I need when completing my application?Georgian College Chevron

Q. I’m a current student applying for entrance awards for a future program. Do I need to update my application? Georgian College Chevron

Yes! We encourage students to update their application for every cycle to be the most up to date and relevant. If you are applying for the entrance cycle, you will want your application to be applicable and relevant to your future program.
Note: the pre-populated OSAP field is for your current program, not future program.  You can use the OSAP estimator to fill in the budget question surrounding OSAP for your next program.

Q. How do I complete the budget on my entrance award application for a future program if I don’t know all my costs yet? Georgian College Chevron

Answer to the best of your ability! Don’t stress. If you’re unsure about your future OSAP funding, you can use the OSAP estimator. If you are not sure how much fees will be, you can visit the full-time fees chart. If you don’t know how much you’ll be paying in rent because you haven’t found a lease yet, make the best estimate you can based on the average rent cost in the area you want to live.

Q. What if the general application questions don’t apply to me?Georgian College Chevron

If a question does not apply to you, you can write in “N/A”, or just answer to the best of your knowledge. It is better to make an educated guess than to not complete the application at all. If you’re ever unsure, you can contact Financial Aid and Awards.

Q. Do I qualify for awards as an ILAC student? Georgian College Chevron

No, ILAC students need to apply to awards through ILAC.
