Course description

Students examine common pathophysiological conditions experienced by a diverse patient population, which may be encountered in the field of community paramedicine. Conditions of the respiratory, cardiovascular, hematological, neurological, MSK and integumentary and the GI/GU/Renal systems are emphasized. Mental health and special conditions such as malignancies and homeostatic conditions are also studied. This module is part of the Community Paramedicine Micro-certificate.
