Course description

In this course, students demonstrate their understanding of producing a digital or live event from inception to execution. All facets of event planning and programming, marketing, sponsorship, sales and fundraising, finance, and project management are applied to the production of the capstone project event. Elements of the operational plan and critical path are applied to create and execute the event. Effective teamwork and collaboration with community partners contribute to the success of the event.

Post Graduate level EVNT 1020 Event Planning and Programming Minimum Grade of 60

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
