Gender Studies

Course description

Gender studies helps us make sense of the extent to which gender shapes our experiences of the world. Students examine social issues with a focus on the social and cultural construction of gender. Students explore the relationship of gender to personal experiences, social institutions, and power.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
