Course description

In this course, students take a share in managing and maintaining an on-campus jewellery store, interacting with real clients and with each other. They prepare display cases and investigate various promotional and marketing opportunities, and learn to apply basic bookkeeping and accounting practices. Students gain experience with the full range of responsibilities encountered in a retail jewellery store, preparing them for those they will encounter in the workplace.
