Course description

While examining the four main sectors of the Canadian economy (consumers, producers, labour, and government), students gain a deeper understanding of the micro and macroeconomic issues and basic economic principles of government policies. Additionally, students examine the impact of the supply and demand curve in various market segments from the highly competitive to the monopolistic environments. To understand an organization's current financial status, students review and evaluate basic financial statements and use analysis techniques, including trends, issues, and forecasting to assist in managerial decision making.
