Course description

Students learn the important role that entrepreneurship plays, not only in the Canadian economy but also in the events industry. Students are introduced to concepts in entrepreneurship in the context of not-for-profit, business and artistic realms. Students are also exposed to environmentally sustainable practices and social entrepreneurship and how they pertain to the events industry.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
