Majid OstadRahimi, Ph.D., P.Eng., received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg MB in 2011. He was a lead researcher (Post-Doctoral Fellow) at the Electromagnetic Imaging Laboratory (EIL), Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba from 2011 to 2014. He had collaborations with several industry/research organizations, including NSERC, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, CancerCare Manitoba, and 151-research Inc. In 2014 he joined Georgian College (Barrie ON) where he is a professor at the Electrical Engineering Technology. His main areas of expertise are RF and microwave circuits, wave propagation, antennas, microwave imaging, applied electromagnetics, and near-field measurements. Dr. OstadRahimi has been a technical reviewer for several professional societies and technical conferences such as the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Antennas Wireless Propagation Letters, and Elsevier Int’l. J. of Electronics and Communications.
