New student representative elected to Board of Governors

Scott Anderson has been elected as the new student representative on the Georgian College Board of Governors for a one-year term – Sept. 1, 2014 to Aug. 31, 2015.

Scott is a third-year Bachelor of Human Services – Police Studies student at the Orillia Campus. For the past two years, he has been a valued member of the Orillia Students’ Administrative Council (SAC) executive. Scott is currently honing his leadership skills as the Orillia SAC president for 2013-14.

During his time on the Board of Governors, Scott hopes to focus on making student services more accessible and promoting the importance of experiential learning at Georgian.
