Georgian marks Pride Week at the Barrie Campus
March 23, 2015

A brightly striped flag waves alongside the Canadian flag. Pride Week 2015 kicked off at the Barrie Campus today with the raising of the pride flag at the main flagpoles. Having the flag flying at such a prominent location indicates that Georgian is an institution that welcomes all people.

Other Barrie Campus Pride activities this week include:

  • Tuesday: Wear your pride colours event, K foyer, 11:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Safe Spaces Ally Seminar, Room E220, 6 p.m.
  • Thursday: Georgian Pride Pub Night, The Last Class, $10 tickets
  • All week: Raffle tickets for sale/Messages from the Heart initiative. Draw will happen at noon on Friday in front of the Students’ Administrative Council office.
