Georgian invites Grey County residents to explore skilled trades

Georgian College’s Owen Sound Campus is inviting Grey County residents to learn how at the third annual Trades Open House on Saturday, June 14.

“We offer excellent skilled trades training to meet the demands of employers right here in our community,” explains Campus Principal Marion Lougas. “This event is a great way for people to learn about local educational opportunities.”

The Owen Sound Campus offers one- and two-year full-time programs that train people to become carpenters, welders, electricians, gas technicians and HRAC technicians.

Everyone is welcome to drop by the campus between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to ask questions, talk to program faculty, take a tour and learn about job opportunities in the skilled trades.
