Why you should come to your graduation ceremony

You earned it!

You’ve worked hard so why not recognize it? Walking across the stage at convocation is a unique experience. Bask in the glory, and don’t regret having missed the chance to take your place in the spotlight. Georgian wants to celebrate you and your achievements!

Think of everyone who helped you – and influenced you – throughout your studies. Family, friends, faculty, college staff, classmates – the list goes on. They’re proud of you so enjoy some happy tears, cheers and this special day with them.

Get gowned up

Who would have thought an oversized robe could make you look so accomplished? A little pomp and circumstance never hurt anyone. Convocation is a long-standing tradition and at this ceremony, you’ll join an esteemed group of 82,000 Georgian alumni.

This may be the last time to connect with all of your classmates. Your new careers may take you in different directions so you won’t want to miss this day. But we do hope you’ll keep in touch with Georgian through the Alumni Association, and we know you’ll take with you friendships that last a lifetime.
