As a graduating student, you’ll need various documentation for your future plans, whether you’re launching your career or continuing your studies.
Read below for the latest updates about transcripts, grad letters and diplomas/degrees.
Temporary process: Delivery to your document hub
For summer 2020 graduates, we’re introducing a temporary process to help get you the documentation you need as quickly as possible while we work remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here’s what you need to know about the temporary process that went live on Aug. 28:
- You’ll receive one official transcript PDF in your document hub automatically as soon as you’re deemed a graduate (audits will be complete by Oct. 9).
- You’ll receive your grad letter in your document hub automatically as soon as you’re deemed a graduate (audits will be complete by Oct. 9).
- There is no need for you to submit a request for a transcript or grad letter.
Any summer 2020 graduate who already submitted a request for a transcript/grad letter or has recently been deemed a graduate will also receive these documents in their document hub. It just may take a few extra days as we manually process them.
Grad letters for students with job offers or expiring study permits
We’re prioritizing grad audits for those with an active job offer, and those whose study permits are expiring. But please note, processing transcripts does take twice as long when we do them off-site, so we appreciate your patience.
If you have a written job offer or your study permit will expire before Sept. 30, 2020, please provide your job offer on company letterhead or a copy of your study permit showing your expiry date. You can send these documents to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include Job offer or Permit expiring in the subject line of your email.
Students who successfully completed their program in August 2020 and applied to graduate will receive their credential by mail in October.
